The Trans Science Conservatives Refuse to Acknowledge
The Science They Want Us to "Follow" Doesn't Lead Where They Think it Leads
Last week, Canadian pop artist T. Thomason and singer-songwriter Bells Larsen — both of whom are trans men — both announced they were cancelling U.S. tour dates and festival appearances over safety concerns and America’s new dystopian visa policies. Larsen announcing to his fans on Instagram:
"I received an email on Tuesday from the American Federation of Musicians stating that I am no longer able to apply for a visa because U.S. Immigration now only recognizes identification that corresponds with one's assigned sex at birth. To put it super plainly, because I'm trans (and have an M on my passport), I can't tour in the States."
Yesterday, the UK’s 12-member Supreme Court ruled unanimously that the definition of a “woman” is “based on the biological sex of someone designated female at birth," which should sound plausibly common-sensical to anyone who got stuck in scientific arrested development the week after 5th-grade biology.
The bottom line is the trans issue isn’t going anywhere any time soon, so we might as well start arming ourselves with the truth bombs and knowledge grenades it’s gonna take to blow this bass-ackwards phobia back to the Dark Age cloisters it oozed out of.
Before we carefully examine why the scientifically-illiterate C̶o̶n̶s̶e̶r̶v̶a̶t̶i̶v̶e̶s̶ Regressives don’t actually have a clue what they’re dealing with, let’s first articulate what it is they actually believe:
There are 2 — and ONLY 2! — genders/sexes: MALE & FEMALE
They “know” this because their favorite book — which says bats are birds, insects have 4 legs, the earth is stationary, light is older than any light source, and that it’s possible to breed striped cattle by placing striped sticks in their water troughs before they mate — says so.
God created them male and female.
Debate settled.
If they’re called upon to offer something a teensy bit more scientific, they’ve got exactly 2 “facts” in their arsenal:
Look between the legs to see if you’ve got boy bits or girls bits
Females have XX chromosomes, Males have XY chromosomes
If the debate wasn’t settled after the first argument, it’s definitely settled now that they just dropped a nuclear science bomb on your woke ass!
BOOM, libtards!!!
In their soup-brained chicken noodle noggin’, it therefore follows that anyone who identifies with something not written on their birth certificate is mentally ill. And we should treat this as the mental illness it is, not enable them.
Or as Ben Shapiro so delicately put it, "Why are we mainlining delusion?"
First Things First
I know I typed “genders/sexes” up there as if the forward slash indicates these are two ways of saying the same thing. That’s just so I didn’t scare the Regressives off immediately. They are not the same thing.
“Sex” refers to a biological classification according to reproductive organs and functions (gonads and ovaries).
“Gender” refers to a person’s self-identity or self-awareness in their head.
I know the Regressives will stubbornly refuse to learn this actual scientific distinction***, no matter how many times we tell them, but, to quote the Reverend Shapiro again, “facts don’t care about your feelings.”
(*** Try calling an Evangelical’s God “She” and watch how fast they gain the capacity to learn this “baffling” concept.)

About Those Pesky “Facts”…
The oldest and easiest method for determining if someone was male or female was indeed holding them up at birth and looking for the dangly bits and pieces. And it’s not just EASY…it's surprisingly RELIABLE as well!
MOST of the time.
The reason it’s not reliable all the time is because sometimes it’s…just not clear what you’re looking at. There’s enough variety of outward, physical expression — that are actually common enough that science had to come up with medical terms for them in medical textbooks — that a number of different explanations have to be considered and tested before slapping down “male” or “female” on the birth certificate.
The broader medical term for this is “intersex,” which is usually divided into 4 categories:
“Complex/Undetermined” (aka “ambiguous genitalia”) – This is when a baby’s reproductive organs are so outside-the-norm that it’s visually impossible to tell if it’s an underdeveloped male bit, or an overdeveloped female bit. This is when they’ll typically turn to chromosomal testing (more on this shortly).
“True Gonadal Intersex” – This is kinda the opposite of the last one. It’s when a baby has clear and obvious bits of both sexes. (The outdated term for this is “hermaphrodite”)
“46, XX Intersex“ (previously called “female pseudohermaphroditism)” – This is when the outward bits are [all or mostly] male, but with internal ovaries and XX chromosomes.
“46, XY Intersex“ (previously called “male pseudohermaphroditism)” – This is when the outward bits are [all or mostly] female, but with internal gonads and XY chromosomes.
(Also, I should remind everyone that humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes – totaling 46 – and the sex chromosome is the 23rd pair, the last one. That’s what the “46” in the above list refers to.)
I know the Regressives’ brains have already broken at this point. But trust me, it gets even more complicated somehow. Buckle ups, buttercups, it’s about to get weird.
Remember when the anti-LGBT crowd pointed out that — regardless of what’s on the outside — when it comes to chromosomes, Females are XX and Males are XY? Because those are the only two options?
Yeah well, they didn’t even get that right.
Contrary to what everyone learned in grade school, there are not “only 2” sets of chromosomal expressions related to sex.
THERE ARE AT LEAST 8!
(The reason they don’t teach this in grade school is the same reason they don’t teach Critical Race Theory in grade school: it’s GRAD-LEVEL material. You learn CRT in law school, you learn what I’m about to tell you in med school.)

XX (female)
XY (male)
HERE ARE THE OTHER 6:
XY FEMALE (aka “Swyer Syndrome”) – Girls with this LOOK female and have functional female bits (though no ovaries), but have XY chromosomes. Because of the lack of ovaries, Swyer girls will not undergo puberty (unless treated with hormone replacement therapy)
XO FEMALE (aka “Turner Syndrome”) – One of the sex chromosomes in the pair did not develop at all. Girls with Turner’s are typically shorter than average, and have underdeveloped ovaries, resulting in a lack of periods and infertility.
XXX FEMALE, (aka “Triple X Syndrome” or “Trisomy X”) – Unlike the last one where one chromosome fails to develop, girls with this end up with an extra, 47th, female chromosome. Taller than average is the most common physical feature, along with normal sexual development and reproduction. Mild-to-severe intellectual, behavioral, and psychological problems can be an issue.
XYY MALE (aka “47,XYY Syndrome”) – A male has an extra, 47th, male chromosome. Usually taller than average, and an increased risk of learning disabilities and delayed development of speech and language skills. Normal sexual development and reproduction
XXY MALE (aka “Klinefelter Syndrome”) – A male has an extra, 47th, female chromosome. Usually taller than boys their age, and the most common symptom being infertility. After puberty, common traits are breast growth, reduced muscle tone, narrower shoulders and wider hips, weaker bones, smaller sex organs, and less facial and body hair. Often quiet and shy and have trouble fitting in. KS males often require hormone replacement therapy and breast reduction surgery. Treatment needs to begin as early in life as possible.
XXXY MALE (aka “48,XXXY Syndrome”) – A male has an extra full pair of chromosomes, with both being female. Often results in significant intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and infertility. Most are over 6 ft tall, but can have weak muscle tone and poor motor skills. Testes are present, but typically inside the body, and do not produce enough testosterone to allow normal sexual development. Boys with XXXY tend to have anxiety, short attention spans, and impaired social skills.
Everyone caught up?
So, you don’t have to use a whole lot of creativity to come up with a myriad of different scenarios whereby a baby might get assigned a particular sex at birth, and then feel like they’re in the wrong body as they get older.
Here, I’ll imagine a few for you right now off the top my head:
The baby is intersex, but dad always wanted a boy. XX on the inside, but enough boy bits on the outside for dad to declare it’s what he always wanted, and thus it shall be a boy!
The baby has ambiguous genitalia and the parents have no gender preference, so they just tell the doctor to do whatever surgery is the safest to make it look definitively one way or the other.
A chromosomal test is performed, and the lab tech accidentally reads the last pair — XX — instead of the 23rd pair — XY.
We can make up realistic scenarios all day long. Actually, we don’t have to make them up. We can actually go online and let other people tell us their unique, individual scenarios. I mean, if you choose to believe these mythical “other people.”
The point is, the people we’re arguing with don’t have the science on their side. Hell, most of them are too scientifically illiterate to understand it even if you explain it to them with pictures. Their only response to, “It’s all in the genes,” is, “Wranglers or Levi’s?”
All’s they got is some “feel-feels” based on an ancient book most of them haven’t read…that obviously doesn’t mean what someone else told them they think it means.
Here’s the problem we’ve got in America: there are people who think “sex” and “gender” mean the same thing, and that there are only 2 genetic possibilities. These people are W.R.O.N.G. That’s it. They’re wrong.
Unfortunately, these same clueless pearl-clutchers feel it’s their “moral duty” to “protect the children,” and they’ve opted to do so in the loudest, most hateful, vile, violent, profane, bigoted way they can think of (aka “in typical fashion”), all while achieving the exact opposite of what they set out to do — helping and protecting the kids!
And this at an entire demographic who have anxiety, depression, social awkwardness, low self-esteem, and a host of other psychological predispositions already baked in to the physiological conditions they’re dealing with. Sorry, you’re not “helping” anything – all your doing is making the problem worse!
You “mental illness” psychos are the 21st century's equivalent of those Medieval lunatics who locked women up and chained them to beds for that "hysteria condition" that turned out to just be "being a f***ing woman."
(Come to think of it, we could probably do an entire semester course on all the “afflictions” down through history that made matters worse for the folks “suffering” from them because the people “treating” them didn’t know what the hell they were dealing with.)
You scientific dumbasses are making life miserable for people because you’re dumbasses, and you need to knock it the f*** off!
Shut your mouths, open your ears, and listen to what the LGBTQ community — and all the doctors who support and treat them — actually have to say.
